Scan Engine Upgrade — 25th March

We're rolling out an upgrade to our scan engine infrastructure on Tuesday 25th March 2026.

What's changing

We've made improvements to how our scan engines handle concurrent requests. The upgrade improves throughput under heavy load and provides better resilience during traffic spikes. We've also upgraded our detection engines, which should improve detection rates across a wider range of threats.

What you need to do

There are no changes to endpoints, authentication, or response formats — all existing integrations should continue to work exactly as before. The new infrastructure does open up the ability to offer some exciting additions in future. If you do notice anything unexpected, please let us know and we'll be on hand to fix it right away.

Planned maintenance window

The upgrade will be rolled out region-by-region during Tuesday 25th March with zero downtime. Scan times may be slightly elevated for a brief period as new infrastructure comes online.
