AttachmentScanner is going Live!

We're pleased to announce that the AttachmentScanner antivirus and malware API is leaving beta and we're about to go live!

AttachmentScanner started as a simple way to allow more customers to make virus and malware scans from within their Web Applications and we've been amazed by the things developers have created with our product.

We'll be taking a number of steps to aid with the transition from beta to live.

  • From 16th March 2020 it's possible to add billing details and select a plan (you won't be billed until the go-live date)

  • 30th March 2020 You'll need billing details in the system in order to view your scanners and create new scanners.

  • 8th April 2020 We'll start charging customers and billing details will be required to make a scan.

Once again we want to take this opportunity to help everyone that helped us get this far. Everyone that's been using the product and providing feedback.

We'll also be providing new API endpoints in the near future expanding upon our US and EU API endpoints.

This is just the beginning we have a huge number of plans in store.

API TLS encryption version upgrade

At AttachmentScanner security is a core part of what we do. We have supported TLS versions 1.2 and 1.3 for some time now. However, we've never actually stopped older clients from connecting to the AttachmentScanner Antivirus Clusters. We beleive that moving forward, it's best to prevent connections using older protocols.
